Proud History
Bright Lavender is proud to be a family-owned business of 35 years. Liz helped her parents plant the original Lavender plants and build the mud brick cottages using earth from the farm 30 years ago. Current owners Liz and husband Tony, have lived in Bright for 14 years.
Liz said it took seven years to build the cottages, which are made out of handmade mud brick, old bridge timbers and railway sleepers.
Since taking over the operation, Liz and Tony have replanted 3000 new lavender plants and continue to farm the lavender to create oil, potpourri, lavender water, bags and bath salts. An on-site shop is also in planning stages.

Our farm is located on the flat lands in the valley with a mountain stream on the property boundary and amazing views of the surrounding valley mountains.
